some new pictures from today only a little to reduce the thickness, so that I could glue the top part of maybe something like this? or to leave this piece of something else, what do you think?

It does indeed look like very OK to me! That is some nice wood for cavitycovers.

Of course they make cavity covers out of wood here. The other options would be either making your own bakelite cover, scavenging something plastic for material or creating something very original and bizarre. I've seen enough awesome builds to know, that if anyone in the world has creativity, it's luthiers!

BTW not to complain, but your pics are quite big. They make an extra scrollbar at the bottom of my screen, which isn't really a huge issue, but an occasional little nuisance anyhow.

Beautiful work. I really like the clean lines and the control cover. That's an impressively good fit.

As to the bookmatched top, are you sure you want a guitar that you can only play for three weeks every month?

A little work from today, I reduced the thickness of the body, just to sand it flat and that's it This jig is a excellent
