Ask Roman Question re bridge saddle screw
Do you have any advice on a simple way to tighten the fit of a loose saddle screw in one of the bridge saddles on a Les Paul reissue? The screw fits the saddle, but is a little loose in the grooves of the saddle and therefore rattles a bit. I'm hoping you've got a neat little trick for solving this. I still want the screw to be functional for intonation adjustments, just snug in the saddle. Thanks.

Re: Ask Roman Question re bridge saddle screw
The wire retainer isn't missing, but it's not tight against the culprit screw (G string). Someone else also suggested a little nail polish on the screw itself. Thanks for your suggestions!

Re: Ask Roman Question re bridge saddle screw
I've posed this question in another thread, but haven't received an answer yet... is there a trick to installing these properly? I've attempted to place a couple of used clips onto some saddle screws with no luck...they just never seem to "lock."
