Remember this list can always grow, because there will always be someone in that specific area, with a broken headstock and has no idea who to take it to. So please contribute, thanks!

Right, but I was hoping for more of a local area, so you don't have to ship over there, unless there is a big mistake that needs to be fixed. Kind of like just a proffesional set up. Remember that not everyone lives in the L.A. Area.

That's pretty much what I had already decided. I'll wind up packin em up, and sendin them to you or Greg. I'd rather ship them and have it done right the first time, than to have to ship them to you to fix someone elses fuck up. There are some disadvantages to livin in the sticks.

The guy I use here in FL (Tampa Bay area) is Johnny Greenwell (formerly had Johnny's House of Guitars in Seminole). He has been in the business for years (used to play with Billy Jones and Monte Yoho from the Outlaws, etc.) He no longer has the store front and is sometimes had to get a hold of (email is best). But he does great work (everything from basic setup to fret work, electronics, amp repair, etc.) If anybody in the area is looking for an honest guy that "knows his stuff" then let me know and I can hook you up with Johnny.

Dan Shinn owns the shop now. He bought it from Virgil Lay in 1982 when Virgil decided to focus on S.I.T. Strings. His brother, Joel, does a lot of finish work in addition to building his own line of custom guitars. Don Fallon does repairs for them as well.

They've maintained my guitars since the late 70s.
