Think I can fix it?

We call this one "Pete".....

Boy, that must have been a helluva show...

I am planning on playing this one on stage in a few months, if I can get to it.

Did the SG lose alot, if any, wood from the break? Hopefully it's a clean break. Judging by the looks of it, I'd say it ain't a clean break. Have fun...m

Re: Think I can fix it?

We started cleaning 30 years of crud off of the exposed wood. It's amazing how nasty exposed mahogany gets when it's been sitting in a storage facility.

Re: Think I can fix it?

If you are patient, and have the skills you can repair it. You may want to make a jig to align, and clamp it while the glue is curing. I've seen a few almost this bad. What the hey, it's a try.
BTW I had an SG like that circa "69 .Walnut finish and soapbars....sounded sweet.
Good luck

Re: Think I can fix it?

Is that crack down the headstock from a previous break and repair or was it all the result of one incident?
