Welcome, I'm just down the road in Avondale. Have you heard of B&D guitar repair on the North side? They do great set ups and other work. Best in town.

Thanks for the welcome! that guitar is Pat Travers guitar or should I say was, he sold it 4 years after that photo. (he is just to the right of me in that photo) That guitar is very rare bird not many of those les pauls around. made for strings and things in Memphis in the 70's

Nice! I've got a couple of old Ibanez Artists that very closely resemble that guitar - minus the trem system.

Yes, I love the old Ibanez Artist guitars! I had many back in the day! I traded a 76 les paul custom (in 76) for the artist, I got the better end of the bargain

Here they are....

They're both 1980 vintage - the Burst has been mine since '95, and I got the Tobacco back in August.

They're sort of the opposite ends of the Artist line for that year. The Tobacco is the AR-100BS, the stripped down version, while the Burst is an AR-5000CS with factory installed active preamp/EQ.

Love 'em both.

Are those stealth pickups in that Custom, Boles? Or 'double-invisibles?'
