New to LPs...

After years of seven string Ibanez shredding, I have finally grown up and come to the Les Paul side. I don't like to do things half-assed, so I figured two new LPs at once would be appropriate for the transition. I picked up a 2008 Studio Premium Plus (natural) and a 2008 Standard Plus (Honeyburst). I'm not sure why I have never owned a LP before because these things have incredible tone and play like butter. At any rate, I am incredibly excited and feel that these guitars have re-ignited my passion for music and I'm sure that as I learn more about these fine instruments I'll continue to be impressed.

Nice but why two? For that you couldve gotten a VOS or something haha either way welcome to MLP and trust me you'll like LPs better than any Ibanez haha

Re: New to LPs...

Well I only paid for the studio because I thought it was gorgeous... I traded for the standard.

Re: New to LPs...

Welcome to MLP. My cousin had a nice ibanez, and it was a great guitar, but I love the feel of a nice les paul.
