G'Day from Sydney Australia

Hi all, just letting my presence known...looking forward to get involved here...

I own a 2005 Epiphone Les Paul Custom Limited "Midnight" that was part of the guitar of the month program...

It has been changed from the original EMG 81/81 to EMG 85/81 although the pic shows it as it was with 2x 81's

I also own a Blackstar Series 1 100watt Head and Matching Blackstar Series 1 4x12 Slanted Cab...the amp it self is AMAZING...paired with the Epi with 85/81 it just screams at you when pushed and very clean when required...I'll give a write up for the amp if people are interested, they are just breaking out here in Australia so not may people own it yet (I'm guessing it's the same there in the U.S. of A), I discovered this amp after I saw a video of Metallica (James Hetfield) was using the 200watt head as his practice amp...good enough for Metallica to practice with...good enough for me lol...

Yeah I love it too...not too sure who you've heard from but they are pretty heave...compared to a Gibson LP Standard...doesn't feel like there is much chambering in it at all...but then again I've not help many LP's before so not too sure on the diff in weight but to me they are not light...
