Being in the military is one of the best places to learn not to trust the Gov't

yep.....that happens brother.Do what I do:remind yourself everyday that it was your job, itwas for your country and FAMILY.And above all else,LEARN TO FORGIVE YOURSELF. THATS ALL.BTW,you should be able to take your case to the VA Commision in your Home of Record.

Re: military

Please continue sorry for the interruption… AS a child when Vietnam war was in action I feared the draft. There use to be a wonders bread commercial that showed a girl eating wonder bread & growing up to a adult. I never would eat that product due to fear of being drafted into that war. My father served in the Korean war & looking thru his memorabilia I found a lighter with Flick-o-flash engraved thus my name

I always sent'em out for a box of grid squares
started out with the 24th,8th bat.,3rd section at Ft.Dix and set about making my rounds between,Brag,Campbel,Knox,Gordon.broke my heart when Dix was shut down.lots of time spent overseas starting with Noriega in '89 and coming to an end with A 3MON.layover at the Rein Meijn hospital in Germany '02-'03 and finally coming to an end at Ft.Eustis of all places got kinda weird when EVERYBODY started wearing Black berets. At any rate,I wouldnt change a thing ,although it was a relief to finally be rid of that DAMN PISS BAG

Re: military

I dont know i knew alot of PFC's that didnt get promoted
Depends on if you have a good NCO or not, one that wants
to promote you or leave you where you are. I ran into them
in both the navy and the army. Alot of people get hurt in Ranger
training, thats a hell of a school to make it through in one peice
that is pretty common. I got hurt in Navy Aircrew School blew
out both of my knees, was in medical hold there for 4 months
till i got better.
