Hi Everyone,
I have been reading MLP for a couple of years now and have decided to join to ask a question I can't find an answer for. "" Warning "" I am a massive Slash fan ![]() I am mid thirty's and have been playing guitar since I was 17. I have had a band with some mates for over a decade. I had been stagnant in my ability for a long time and didn't practise much until a news years resolution 18 months ago to ditch all other entertainment (eg xbox360) and get better with the guitar. I now play everyday even for a little bit and have an absolute passion for playing guitar now. I have learn't to fix my own guitars including refretting, fret leveling, etc. mainly from reading these forums and have refinished two guitars and love pulling them apart to change parts. I have a few guitars but they are all cheapies as I have two small kids and not much money. I have been trying different types of guitar for the last year and a half and although I have two Strat type and one Tele type guitars with upgraded pickups and enjoy playing them everytime I pick up a les paul it feels right. In the future when funds allow hoping for a tobbaco burst Gibson but next guitar I want to try is a Double Cut Junior, probably a Gladiator GG165. Lookout for a thread about a junior with both P90 and Humbucker in bridge postion and a doggy photoshop job. |
