I used to belong to another guitar forum but that one was full of bullying, condescending assholes, grammar Nazis and people that followed you around posting sarky remarks with a smiley face at the end.

I came here cause I thought it would be different...

I had been lured into the Harmony Central forums by a bandmate, and found this through a link.
I enjoy the guitar porn, and the opportunity to interact with folk from a much more diverse pool than is available in the face to face world.
I must say that the sense of fun here is entertaining, and the sheer gratuitous stupidity that made HC unendurable seems to dissipate nearly as quickly as it appears here.

Was about to buy my first electric (Elitist LP Custom) and in my country people knew nothing about them and MF reviews weren't enough...so I came here and I kinda never left.

I have been a member for a short time and I still find answers here to most guitar questions even non LP related.

I recently bought a bass and learned a bit from the members here before taking the plunge. I must have seen other MLP members on a bass forum also, there is so much info here on all sorts of subjects, its unbelievable.

Why? Probably because this is the place where I can get all my LP related question answered. I love having people with the same common interests (like the person above me stated) People can share some tips and tricks with guitars, amps, or anything involving these things.

Aside from that, it's a great community. I love these forums.
