A hello from Norway

Hello! I'm new here and would make a little introduce. My name is Howard (Håvard actually, but "Å" isn't an english letter, so I just call me Howard on english places). I live in Randaberg (close to Stavanger), a little place which tries to bee a green village. I've been playing guitar for six years, but I've been playing it real for two years. I started with the acoustic guitar (like many others I think), which I played on in three years, but I thought it was boring becouse songs like Bjørnen Sover (a norwegian song) wasn't the thing for me (so I didn't practice so often). But when I heard Led Zeppelin and Jimi Hendrix, I was sold, I wanted to play like them, and then I started to practice the hole day long (it was after I had bought me an electric-guitar). So know Jimmy Page and Jimi Hendrix have been a huge influence on me. For some days ago, I think two weeks, I discovered this band "Free", and their guitarist Paul Kossoff, and I can say that Free is already one of my favourite band's together with Led Zep and The Jimi Hendrix Experience and Paul Kossoff has already gone to the group of my biggest inspirations.

The music I play on my guitar is often blues/rock, rock and hardrock. My guitar is an Epiphone Goth Les Paul (I don't like so mutch), but I've been looking for a guitar for a long time know and I think I've maybe found a Les Paul that I want. I'm also wondering about buying me a new amp (becouse me and some friends are maybe going to start a band, if everything goes okey, and then I need a little bit louder sound).

And btw, can someone recommend any guitarstores and recordshops around Oxford St. (going to London on a holyday soon)?

Thanks.
