Gibson Convert saying "Hi!"

Hey, joined the other day cause I been reading posts on here for a while but never joined.
I've played Fender Jaguars and Mustangs(Humbuckered) ever since I was 16, I'm 32 now and only just bought a Gibson. I've had this sound that I wanted in my head all these years and it was a Gibson, not a souped up Fender. I just liked Fenders too much to bother even trying Gibsons.
I like the simple less flashy Gibsons like juniors, MM and studios etc.

I just bought the JJ blackheart MM (love the simplicity of it) and I'm awaiting mine to arrive at the store hopefully by the weekend. Love the sound of it, gutsy heavy rock HB where it counts mahogany set neck brilliance!

Its my 1st Gibson but wont be my last, I already have 4 more Gibsons lined up for the future that I hope to get over the next 2 years or so!

Anyways, just saying high and introducing myself. Seems like a cool place with tons of info!

Cheers. Yeah I love the thing, its exactly what I've always wanted in a guitar for a long time now and the hearts@12 don't bother me either! LOL (couldn't care less TBH)

It reminds me of the Ric 425 in a way...although I think the Gibson is nicer.

Re: Gibson Convert saying "Hi!"

Hey dudes.
Got the JJBHMM yesterday, and its 100% flawless and sounds sick as!!!

Yeah the Melvins rock! They are coming to OZ in Feb-March 2011, gonna go see them, thing is, Slayer is playing the same festival so its gonna be cool getting to see both again. A heap of other bands are there to like Rob Zombie, ill Nino, iron Maiden etc.
Here's the flyer:

I came to use Gibsons because I liked the guts that they have that fenders just don't have. Other guitars have similar guts/power, its just the Mahogany really. I just like Gibsons designs.

I have humbuckered Fender jaguar and a Humbuckered 1966 Fender Mustang, the Mustang is the more powerful one of the two.

Thanks for all the Welcomes BTW!
