Just thought I'd say hello. 25 yr old guitarist from Birmingham UK who finally stopped fannying around with his USA Strat and sold it for a black Epi Les Paul Custom (+cash for his wedding!). Finally bit the bullet after spending too long with a nice sounding guitar which sounded nothing like what I actually wanted my guitar to sound like. Epi's always decent enough quality (owned a couple of G400s in the past) so happy enough with it till I eventually save up enough to afford a gibbo...probably a few years!!

Been playing to varying degrees over the last few years - did play in a band and have an RGT grade 8. Did plan to do a music course afterwards but didn't get round to it 'cause of money pressures and securing a good job in the FE sector, and have sort of been letting it go to waste a bit over the last year or so. AM planning on doing more tho and looking for opportunities to jam etc...

Played a lot of different styles, though mostly in the sort of classic rock area now - did have a short lived thrash band, a classic rock band, and an 80s hair metal band. Artists i've admired include Free, Eric Clapton (Solo), Aerosmith are good to listen to, Lynyrd Skynyrd, hair bands such as Winger, Dokken, Warrant, XYZ etc, shreddy stuf flike vicious Rumors, Cacophony and still sometimes listen to heavier bands like Destruction, Kreator, Dark Angel, Carcass etc
