This is the guitar that was driving me nuts! Killer R0 50th at Centre City!!!

It is the best looking top I have seen yet on an R0 V3! And she weighs in at a hair over 8 lbs. This one will go fast! I wish I could have snagged it up. Keep in mind, these are cell phone pics & do not do this top justice.. The flame is very 3d and intense. I have pics of both the R0 50ths in my albums.

Ah...... cause of temporary insanity now understood Still, for me, 3k is a lot to drop for a top, even if it DOES slay.

I don't think it's just the UK. In the US, most retailers list these at $6K, and because of the flooding in Gibson, they are being told by Gibson to hold firm on prices and not to discount anything.

Sam Ass employees tell me they will be fired if they discount any Gibson product.

If you have a new guitar shipped to the UK do you have to pay any customs or other taxes? I doubt that anyone could get a better 50th anniv than this one. Gorgeous top and only 8.1 lbs

It's nice but not my cup of tea. I'm picky when it comes to flametops.
