That's a decent price - not thrilling - but decent - for a used G0 in this market IMO. I shopped hard for a G0 for a while, then decided I'd wait and see what Gibson would do for a 50th '60. A R0 for that price would be more thrilling - for sure. Again IMO.

I've played a G0 that was pure magic - but I'm sure they're like any other historic - variable.

Good luck with whatever you decide.

I have a 2004 G0 that is so great toned, I also have a 07 R9 and a 04 R8 the G0 is my go to guitar, Mine has the R0 stamp inside the control cavity.

JOMO FYI I got the same G0 from GC used 2007 model for $1800.00. Your homey should drop his price a couple 100.

And just to be clear because I wasn't clear in the initial post. This is a forum and this is really what it's here for (discussing LPs). I get tired of the "slash tones" and the "pickguard" threads as much as the next guy and just because I'm not in this section all the time, doesn't mean that I'm clueless. Reading the post "not another G0/R0 thread again" or what ever was obviously a stab at me and that's cool, but I feel like most people on here know me and know what "level" I'm on (not that I'm an expert, but certainly not a noob). So just to make it clear, this thread was not because I didn't know what a G0 was, but to get some input before I made a "rash" decision.

Sorry about the stab man. It wasn't neccessary. I have a 04 G0 that I'd put up against any historic. It's my number one and the neck is awesome. You won't be sorry with a G0. That said, do I want a '10 R0. Hell yeah.
