Aged 2007 R8
Took some new photos this morning with my crappy camera.
My inspiration for this was to go for the kind of "Warts and all" aging that you see on old bursts. Particularly taking inspiration from the Keith burst, Beano, Page's #1, The Green Burst, Everything at Burstserial, and a few others along the way. Anyway here it is: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Re: Aged 2007 R8
WOW! Very talented. Yes, I am a newbie, from the real pics Bobbo has posted , I cannot tell the difference....
Although....newbie again, I can't see why anyone would change a perfectly new L.P. It's like putting wrinkles and false teeth on a supermodel.....just my opinion.. |

Also, the older pics show a more vibrant color in the top? Or is that just the light playing tricks? I like the older color...FWIW...but I think you did a great job...especially not ever having done it before!!

Re: Aged 2007 R8
Absolutely beautiful! If I thought I could do anything like that without totally mucking up my les, I would. I love the way the headstock looks. The edges look smoth and rolled as though theyve had fifty years of loving road play. I also love how the LP decal has worn away....
Wonderful
