R7 Brazilian Stinger "one of a kind"

'03 MM Stinger R7 with '59" neck profile. Made by mistake
only one made for the MM Stinger line. Like Sweet Cherry in the BOTB
beautiful translucent red finish. They even used it for the brochure cover
( well back of the headstock..hahaha ) enjoy...

Re: R7 Brazilian Stinger "one of a kind"

THATS GEORGE HARRISON'S LP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A 57 painted cherry, this is so cool. There's no way that's just a coincidence
What a cool re issue, i always thought they should do a george harrison signature lp, I'm not sure that's what this is, but goddamn it would be weird to just make a R7 with a cherry finish and 59 neck
I would pay alot for that!

What a beautiful loose grain. It really takes the colour well. Do you have a neck shot/description?

As far as I can tell, not one piece ... you can see right in the middle the cut (but very well made, almost match the grain) between the two pieces.

Ah yes, I do see it now towards the rear strap area. Pretty good match, though!

I never thought I'd go much for red, but that is one of the most beautiful Les Pauls I've ever seen here. I am absolutely head over heals for that guitar. Just goes to show you.

I agree... don't like red myself, but when I saw her and the translucent finish.. I thought WOW!

It is advertised as a "George Harrison" Style guitar. Not a Signature. Also says that the original guitar that inspired this VOS model was used on the "Revolution" recordings.

The more I look at it, the more I like it.
Especially with the off-center seam. I remember Gibson putting out some sunburst R6s or R7s that were supposed to resemble stripped goldtops and also had the off center seam.
Interesting guitar. Only thing I do not like is the Trussrodcover!

EDIT: wait about the cover...they seem to have changed it. It had the word deluxe on there.

Itīs not my guitar. Itīs curently for sale in a German guitar shop near Frankfurt. The shop is called "guitarpoint" I bought my R8 and R9 there. I havenīt had the chance to look at it personally but the shop usually gets the better Historics on the German market.
I donīt know how "limited" this edition is - itīs not even advertised as being limited so you could always give Marks Guitarloft a call or Saul and see if theyīve heard of these guitars.

The store I used to work at had one of the "George Harrison" Les Pauls. Being the insane Beatles fan that I am I tryed to get it but someone of course beat me to the punch.
