is it stupid to try to trade?
am i waisting my time trying to find some one to trade me there r9 or r8 in washed cherry (in any condition) for my 97 black w/ gold hardware LP Custom (with lots of "mojo") + my 03' LP Standrd gold top with 60's neck and Lindy Fralin Pups in it? or should i try it ? because i really want an r9 or r8 in washed cherry

IDK if you are wasting your time or not. I say you should try it though. You may just find the right person.

Why don't you try selling those two guitars and then buying an R8 with the cash? That's probably your best bet. Reason I say that is because if you do find a possible trade, you're sort of limited to that one particular R8. Historics are incredible guitars but not all of them are incredible, if you know what I mean?
Personally...and don't take this the wrong way, coming from a guy who owns a LP Custom and owned an '06 Standard, I wouldn't even consider that trade. LP Custom - say $1,700, 'cause of the mojo. LP Standard - say $1,200, worst case scenario. Total - $2,900. More than enough to buy you a used R8 and just on the low side of the R9 range. Could buy yourself a used R8 with a small tube amp for that much. Like a Blackheart Little Giant.

hahahaha yeah thanks Guys! i think ill sale them (after all i have a cherry burst traditional on the way) and ill still have my white 98 standard and my 00' classic
