Wacked it with the pointy end of an 18ft cable ! Believe me Sybil has a few scars on her ! I dont have straplocks on her either and she took a bit of a plunge once or twice leaving a ding on the headstock as well as a bit of a gash near the back strapbutton !

Bobbo, VERY nice!! Damn, mine's very, very similar in color and grain to that one. It's about to be RS'd, will look almost identical to the one on page 27 in BOB.

I dont use em anymore either Bobbo, Ive never lost an axe without them. But I have ruined a few a few holes from using them in the old days. I just always use a high quality strap and when it gets wear and lose I get anothr strap.

One question: the knobs are amber, right? Are they Gibson stocks or another brand?
Let me explain my doubt... the amber knobs i use to see are more red... and the ones in your guitar aren't red, but aren't gold.
