Re: Just spotted a killer R0.

This one, also from GuitarSale, looks real nice. And I'm in the same boat as Mike...already well stocked in RO's; otherwise, I'd be all over one or both of these.

I came very close to buying this one a few months ago, and the only reason I didn't (and why I believe it still hasn't sold) is because it has a very thin neck (about the same as a Classic), otherwise it's a spectacular looking guitar and a very good weight.

Between the subtle, peek-a-boo flame, the mineral streaks and the medullary grain, it reminds me a lot of the one I recently bought (although mine's a Sunrise Teaburst):

Yeah that's a killer looking guitar Frank, was a great score! ...they're definitely producing some of the most realistic looking tops this year, which is nice to see.

Thanks! And yours is real nice too! It's funny, but I think the most realistic tops this year are going on the R0s, although the R8s and R9s are real nice too.

They most definitely will negotiate. Call them and ask for Jason. And here's a direct link to the one with the streaks on it (unless you were referring to my Sunrise Teaburst above which isn't for sale): Gibson 1960 LP Standard "VOS" Figured Top - Guitar Sale
