Re: Brazilian Checker

Does anyone know definitively if "all' of the '56 Reissue Gold Tops made in 2003 had Brazilian Boards?

NM: Found what I was looking for. They were only on the ones produced between January up till May of '03. Explains a lot! Thanks anyways.

Re: Brazilian Checker

my next guitar project ( full blown details soon ) will have a Brazilian board... the builder has several blanks so I'll see which one will be chosen.

BTW, Flick thanks for the link!

Re: Brazilian Checker

these guitars (the centenary model) are still made with brazilian (albeit the type that is "old"): it may be the case that ramirez got hold/ hoarded the wood before the CITES legislation came into effect.
Dream Guitars: Preowned Ramirez Guitars, Jose Ramirez, Amalia Ramirez, Centenario, Premium Old Growth Brazilian Rosewood , Red Cedar, Concert, Classical Guitar, Christopher Parkening, Andres Segovia, Nylon String
