Michael Bloomfield signature Les Paul Burst

Very nice site. Love out to Zack. I am happy to announce that a Michael Bloomfield signature Les Paul Burst is in the process of being created. Although paper work has been executed by Gibson and the estate, Gibson has the right to postpone or cancel the project at their discretion. I have no reason to believe that they will do so. The target date is at the NAMA Show coming up. This was a long time coming, but well worth the wait. Michael would have been so proud.

i presume they found it?

Wonder if the reissue will have half the neck binding missing?

In the 50 year guitar war DVD they say Michael Bloomfield was the one who triggered the burst craze with the british rockers , beck , Clapton ect & started the movement where everyone had to have one.

Thats awesome. Thanks FLICKOFLASH. Id love to see what the RI looks like, I love his burst. I like the reverse chevron (I dont know if thats actually what its called) but its really cool.

I cant remember where i read it but Dan Erlewine actually swapped his 59 burst for bloomfields 54 goldtop

trying to rememeber which les paul book it is in it shows a picture of Dan Erlewine playing the burst onstage

EDIT FOUND IT!!!!!!!

NOTE: MY LES PAUL WHICH I TRADED TO MIKE BLOOMFIELD (in the interview he says for his 54 goldtop and $100....'D'oh

Here is photo I found on the LPF of Bloomfield burst.. FULL credit to the guy who took the pci because its an amazing shot I reckon its 70s and I imagine by now its a lemon drop..its faded a lot
