Page 93 Burst
So, I am working away yesterday, when I get an email from Curt at the Great, Great House Of Guitars
(they are right here in my home town, Rochester, NY). He knows I am on the lookout for the ultimate LP. It had these two photos. The first is a BotB page-93-Burst R9 and the second is a new Dark Factoryburst. I'll be going down to check out both guitars later today. I'd be most interested in the P93 Burst, but at 8lbs 15 oz, it may be a bit on the heavy side for me. Just gorgeous, though. Decisions, decisions. Which do YOU like? Take a look: and here's the Dark Factoryburst:

Re: Page 93 Burst
Playability first of course but looks wise I like the page..nicer graining...will darken a little more over time and correct me if I'm wrong the page may have slightly more re-sale factor should the need arise..over all tho looks wise I prefer the page..just My opinion of course...

Re: Page 93 Burst
8 lbs, heavy?!?! That guitar is a dream weight, it's light as can be for a les paul. Anything less and either it's chambered, or something ain't right.
Man both those guitars are absolutely stunnin, love them both, but I'd have to go with the Page. Just my personal preference on the burst. |

Along that line, I vote...switch tip "on"!
Oh, and with regard to the guitars, I think that page 93 looks perfect! Frank

Re: Page 93 Burst
Also, is it my imagination, or are the rings and pickguard now much better, color-wise? Is it just the photo? They look, dare I say it, RIGHT!

Re: Page 93 Burst
Really nice and you can't go wrong with either.
Just curious on the first pic why the bridge and pickups appear to be aged but the tailpiece is not?

Re: Page 93 Burst
I LOVE the look of the p93 burst. It's funny... I've owned a few 50's LPs, a conversion, vintage MIJ copies and a couple high end replicas, but my ultimate LP has turned out to be my McInturff Carolina Custom. The hunt sure was fun though!!! Best of luck.

the Page is overrated... the neck is too thin unless you have petite hands and like to paint your nails..

Re: Page 93 Burst
Tough decision, I'd go with page 93 though. I'm a huge fan of the darkburst but the flame on that 93 is killer. Of course tone and feel take precedence. Both look terrific and oh and for me I'd consider the price. If I could a couple hundo and liked both I'd try to. Great pics be sure to post NGD after you choose. Thanks for sharing my friend. And I prefer heavy guitars so the beauty take it. My 07 is 9lbs and 12 oz. Love the tone from the hondurian sounds great.
