Very Nice Voodooman! Love it! Then again I'm partial to BB's.

I know your loving her too!

Geez all the recent beautiful Black and White 68 RI's are gonna give poor Boles a STROKE!

I just saw that one. Odd that it has kidney bean Grovers instead of keystones. They want a bit too much for it. I'll wait for Saul.

Re: Let's see those 1968 Reissues!!

I'll never be able to afford a 50th R9. Even if I could, $4,000 is my limit for a guitar, so that's out anyway. Yes, my R9 was used. 4 more guitars and I'll be done for a looooong time anyway.

Black and white '68s
White SG/Les Paul Custom
ES-355

Maybe a good Tele and that's really all I've ever dreamed of.

Re: Let's see those 1968 Reissues!!

I like your taste in guitars Boles.

After countless guitars, I'm down to LP's and Tele's, both in several flavors. Oh, and one strat. Hell, I'm happy that I've honed my own tastes down to what those style guitars produce. Just another way of dealing with gas. Hopefully I'm done for a while.

Although a 335 could show up one day.......

I'm torn between a 355 and a block 335. I need more ornamentation than just dots. Even though I have one, I'm not your typical R9 freak. I love just about all Gibsons.

Anyway, that Univ. is cutting back 4 Billion next year. FYI
They are cutting back on enrollement (which makes no sense to me at all)

My '68 GAS will more than likely never end! I've never been so in love with any other model in my 20+ years of wanking on Les Pauls.

In the unlikely event I'm able to swing an antique white 68 before you, I'm going to mercilessly post pics.

I have a rotation with my guitars. It just happened to be R9 time. I love my Standards too, but I'm IN love with Customs.

We have so damn many guitars....it's hard to tell what one he'll play. He takes one out to change strings and polish it and plays it for a while before putting it back into the guitar room. I think the jam ones with the drummer and bass player have the first 68 RI in it.

Very cool -will watch-. I have a few vids too but I'm an awful player. A better gearhead than guitarist.

By the way you remind me of Nuno Bettencourt for some reason...!

Thanks man! Considering your taste in tone, I'm humbled. I've just very recently begun to hone down the metal tone to where I want it... Not quite there yet. On most of the 'metal' videos it's a Mesa/Boogie Dual Rectifier Roadster head through either my 212 Rectifier cab with V30s or an old, beat up 1992-ish Recto 412 with Celestion C90s. There's one video there in which I'm not playing (My friend Anthony is) with a Road King II head and my since-sold Road King 412 cab.

The Orange box would be my Tiny Terror head...which I love to death aside from the fact that it has no effects loop (but I'm changing that mwahaha).
