and the guts after getting rid of that rats nest that comes stock in epis

i really love this guitar.... thanks djwilbanks

also, a note about the epi stock P-90's .... these pups are fantastic... Before I even got the guitar in the mail I was thinking of different pups to swap in, i really dont feel the need now... these things are really nice! pure raw p90 tone, and after the rewire it made them even that much sweeter

The neck is thick, but when you are playing its not a problem (at least for me), it is very comfortable. My other gibsons have thinner necks, i feel them weird since i get the R7.

I was thinking of getting one last time but the neck on R7 that turned me down, I'm not used to thick neck, although the finish and everything is perfect. Luckily got my self a Slash GT later on, which has the perfect neck (for me at least).

How do you compare that R7 neck to SG neck? which is fatter/thicker?

If memory serves me right the SG neck is near to a 59 rounded profile, thinner than the 57's. The neck of the 57's are the bigger neck that gibson makes, although every guitar is different, and every neck is different. You can find 57's thinner than other 57's.

Hi people, goldtop I LOVE EM!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a Gibson Les Paul classic goldtop, its my favorite colour for a les paul, but i dnt know whether the classics look better with or without a scatch plate, what u think? Im thinkin of gettin some kind of burst, i really love the tobacco burst, but i know people r gonna think im tryin to copy

, he's my favorite guitar player, but i dnt like the colours just because he has 1, Goldtops have always been my fav. Ive had a prob with the tuning tho, keeps goin out, any1 know whats up?

Hopefully gettin my marshall vintage modern soon, gonna be KICK ARSE!!
