The truss rod cover is historically not correct.

Same bridge base plate as on his Bigby'd Burst.

I always wondered what the plate under the bridge was for... Might anyone on here know?

It is a decoration. On Joe's original Burst it is a factory original item.

Re: Coming Soon to a Theater near you!

The serial # is also Joe's Birthday, That was a GT Prototype done by Gibson and it had no Serial # It was done at HM for Joe as a gift from his parents/family. (I think) ....I think its real nice. the bow tie will also be on the new Gibson Collectors series 1960, "Babe"
I haven't decided if I like the bow tie...adds weight....maybe a touch of tuxedo class...but I haven't worn a tux since 1990....

I understand that Joe loves it.

Harmonic convergance. Sometimes it happens in the strangest of places if you look at it right. Good catches on the birthday serial and the Cornell show.

Re: Coming Soon to a Theater near you!

is he playing through this tweed amp and this Marshall Armada is only decoration.....hahhh, hahhhhh

I don't like those artificially aged guitars any more....its like driving an 58 Porsche Speedster replica on Sunset Blvd....

The amp was a Victoria.
Joe ended up liking The Golden Melody the best:

It sounded like a bluesbreaker with reverb.
