Look what the UPS man brought me!

Ok look what the guitar Gods brought me

Finally got one.
Its part of my bonus from this year.
Shoot its nice

Thanks for all the help from everyone here!

so far all i have to say is its about one of the most perfectly balanced Les Paul historic I have played.
2011 model 58 at 9 pounds 2 ounces.
It is one of the best I have played.
Bought from Eddies guitars over mail .....great price and super service and attitude.
Brett is the man. Really nice guy.
What a nice use for a slab of Mahogany.

Its sweet

Nice.

The older I get the more I love a nice plaintop. That one is begging to be reliced the old fashioned way. Better get started, it's gonna take you about 25 years.

Enjoy and HNGD

Re: Look what the UPS man brought me!

ok totally silly question, but isnt a truss rod adjuster supposed to come with the guitar?

moving from St Louis MO to California and the neck needs a tad bit adjustment

thanks!

LOL

no shit

I LOVE this guitar. But I still think Gibson sucks the big one. Lets keep things in perspective here. We work hard for our money.

I'm sure they are lovely down-home folks at Eddies, but having a Web-site and having NO photos or any details of stock is quite bizarre.

When I go into a shop, I like to LOOK first, and then maybe ask some questions. If I approve, I'll buy something.

At Eddies, you have to knock on the door, ask a question, and if THEY approve, they'll let you in.....

This has been discussed numerous times--GIBSON is the one that prohibits all but a select few online vendors from posting photos and/or prices of their Gibson guitars in stock. They have done this for years to keep competition from driving their prices down. If Eddie's could post photos of their stock, they would.

Re: Look what the UPS man brought me!

If you want to see a specific Gibson at Eddies.

Ask. And an email might show up.

And I like the fact you have to be "buzzed" in.

Keeps the wannabees OUT!

I'm aware of that.

So because Gibson say so, does that make it right?

In some countries, such an arrangement would be seen as "price-fixing" or a "cartel", and would be illegal.

But I guess the home of "free market" lets the likes of Henry get away with sh*t like that
