I know there are many varients to a PAF tone which is VERY subjective to each person. These have the sound
and feel my ears love in a GREAT PAF

Thanks !!!! I thought I mentioned that the following are all "circa" 59 parts:

Truss Rod cover
Kluson tuners
Switch tip
Knobs
ABR-1 bridge and wheels.

As far as being the fan of "aged type", I was NOT either until I played one, especially a Ultra -aged.

It works for me. Jeepers, fantastic...I have been thinking about how you swapped the parts out. Not entirely sure I'm totally with you on that but who the heck knows, it's the vibe that counts, and this has it. Looks quite a bit like my CC1 Moore/Green...sublime.

Thanks!!!! As part swappping I had the parts, better on the guitar than in a drawer. Held on to the original parts, nothing that can not be reversed. Win, win situation.

A really awesome Lady. One of the most authentic looking I've ever seen. Love it!

Though I would put on some nice aged PU covers. But this is just my 2 cents of course.

Your guitar deserves the best parts, Tailpiece has to be change!, inlays are a most! I personally would go with Fake58 tuners for the appropriate age look, pickguard has to be MojoAxe with my special mod!, more rusty screws would look more appropriate with the overall look, the neck binding needs to get rolled off too. Just my suggestions.

Thanks!!!! The pickups are OTPG. The tuners are REAL circa 59 with original buttons, why would I go with Fake 58? Not all buttons from 58,59 & 60 decayed. Many stayed in excellent shape despite wear on guitar. Tail piece changed, and again a lot of hardware stayed pretty nice despite age of instrument. Of course, some did not. I prefer this look. Maybe it is the pictures, but neck binding has a nice roll to it.

I had a response to this all typed up which contained more expletives than I've used in a long time. But I decided to keep it clean, and not stoop to his level (or below).

I wish there was a "dislike" button we could push, though. And if someone accumulates too many of them, they get tossed out of the forum on their ass.

I know what you mean Frank. I also had to tone down my response not wanting to “stoop” his level. I believe in these “show & tell” type threads,
if you do not have anything good to say then don’t say. That is what I meant by showing proper etiquette. I know some will say
“hey it’s a public forum I could say anything within reason”. IMHO feel there is no need to be negative; it is just a classless act.
However, if asking for an opinion then that’s different, I should expect everything; the good, bad & ugly.

Anyway just wanted to thank everyone once again for their kind words, with one exception.
