The Brock Burst finish is to die for..........

The off center seam, a top filled with mineral streaks, thick and heavy grain..............

The fret board is "off the charts" beautiful..........

What is the angle on a vintage one? This one seem lower then the one of 4 degrees that was on the R8 because the height of the bridge is lower setting the same action I had on the R8

Gibson has had the R5 program going for a few years now. I like the soft V neck these have.

Yes, I noticed the thumbwheels are almost all the way down to the top. That's what got me thinking, because I believe the neck angle was shallower in the mid 50's than later. Not that it really matters at all, I was just curious if they captured that detail and it looks like they did.

Just took another look at those photos on my work PC (with a nice large calibrated Samsung monitor), fantastic photography!

I can see the grain of the wood and the pores where the thin coat of finish has seeped into them. You scored a real gem, bro!
