57 black beauty pups? some come with Bbuckers and some with 57 classics?

does anyone know when or why the change to the 57 black beautys pups all the websites say they come with burstbuckers but my 2007 and some people form other forms have 57 classics in theirs.

I have a 2007 R7 black beauty as well and it came stock with 57 classics.

Mine came with 57 classics. It is an '07. I inquired at Gibson about this and they said that the 57's are not spec and that I could send the 57's in to Gibson and they would send me a set of BB's. My guess is the they ran out of BB's at the time and substituted the 57's.

I kept the 57's and put them in a drawer. I have some Wolfetone Dr. V's in it now.

i didnt care for the BBs in my R0 but the 57s sound awesome through my laptop. i have not had a change to run it through my rig yet i might just make it my blues guitar

you take the strings off then take the pick ups out and look at the back. It should say on te back what they are.

i guess i should have been more specific in my question. i've seen some 57s with only the black PAF sticker on the back and some with them + plus the white sticker with the pickup name. i've also seen supposed BB in a similar fashion. i guess my question is if you have a set with just the black PAF sticker, how can you be sure it's a 57 or a BB?
