One thing you might do, if, God forbid, they don't seem to locate it is to write down the serial number and watch the auction sites to see if it turns up for sale somewhere down the road. I know it's probably a long shot, but stranger things have happened.

Drop the "The" and drop the bolded yellow clown font - that's Bobbo's territory. All of my guitars have (female) names, and that's a good one. But you might consider "Marilyn" or "Aretha".

At least they have it narrowed to some degree.

Absolutely amazing they have temporarily lost track of it, as big a box as it must be.

This thread ends when fed ex pulls the curtain back and the Diva sends her first signal to your amp.

Don't sweat it...yet. A few years ago, my favorite guitar (at the time) got lost in transit too...by USPS. No one had any idea where it was, and everyone, including the local postmaster, had pretty much given it up for lost. Then two weeks later, it finally arrived unscathed.

Did they say when they'd update you? Are they working on this a little harder than usual, due to the value of the package? They really should have had an answer back to you in a couple of hours - thats the kind of shit where someone very very high up needs to be on the phone with delivery drivers and anyone who touched or should have touched your package...

this sucks! I'm sure it will turn up soon? I'm sweating over my new R9 too.. it arrived in the UK on 15th July and its STILL in customs awaiting a charge..I'm hoping they are just delayed.. However UK customs are "That good on Les Pauls" they can tell the difference between a real set of M69 rings and some repro ones!! They can spot the difference between a original burst and a reissue.. LOL!

I bet they are there looking at the value of my R9 and scratching there heads....

...Canada Customs here can and does slow up delivery here...usually it's if the paperwork is not done right...
...my solution is to birddog the delivery and use overnight air.
