My New '05 R8 (Non-VOS)... Pics!!!
Hi All,

That's one of the nicest colors I've seen period. Question, should the tailpiece on a Les Paul be clamped all the way down like that? I see them different ways. Thanks!

It all depends on your action and overall setup. You usually want it about as low as you can get it without the strings touching the back of the bridge. I can't really see the back of the bridge too well in the pictures, but it doesn't look like any strings are touching.

I love the color --- the pics seem to make it look more iced tea than cherry. Wondering if it's already done some nice fading over the three years since it came out of the factory.
