Some Tasty R9's

I received an e-mail from a local dealer who said that he was in possesion
of 3 new R9's. Two of them in Bourbonburst/Gloss. Gibson has that rule that dealers can't post pics of their inventory. I mailed back and requested some pics.
These are just too pretty to not be shared.
Remember these are not my guitars, nor am I buying them.

Curious, what aspects of these make one a keeper and the other so-so? I'd like to see what others are keying on.

I'm not actually a fan of flame but that second one is lovely. A lot of depth to the flame

When I think of a flametop, that second one, is what comes to mind.

You can't always tell from a photo - especially not depth and movement. I think they're probably both nice. I'll bet they've both got a lot of movement in the top.

I prefer the first one, the deeper color and tighter grain. I bet it shimmers.
Just thought you guys would want to see 'em.

Re: Some Tasty R9's

I think both of them look great. I have a RustBurst with a tighter flame like the first pic you posted and it's a beauty. So is the one you posted. Right now, I'd go for the 2nd one as i'm into that kind of figure more right now. Imo, sweet guitars anyway you look at them. Please pm me about the 2nd guitar as I might be interested. thanks.

Re: Some Tasty R9's

I like the second one.

What the deal with dealers not being able to post inventory? I've never heard this... what is the logic behind that. Wildwood Guitars has their inventory posted...
