1959 build
Well after carefull consideration I have decided to build my own 1959 Les Paul Standard, granted I know it won`t be the same as a 52 year old origonal but its the closest to the real deal as I will be able to afford. Thinking about putting Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates pups in it since they were copied from 1 awesome 59 standard. Any pointers and or tips from the more experienced here would be greatly appreciated.

Try the Luthier's Corner! Go through the build threads, it's worth every second you spend reading them...

Re: 1959 build
Very ambitious undertaking I think. I've seen some good work done but it's always been done by real craftsmen not a hobbyist.
