Re: Show Me your Customs
Here's a few... Wine one is a 2000 and the white one is a 1998
I still believe the 'Custom' with it's Ebony fretboards are the best playing LP's ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() H Howard S Studios |

Re: Show Me your Customs
Ok, here's some better pics. I changed out all the hardware for chrome. It had a Schaller bridge that was cracked, and bent in two directions! It didn't effect intonation, or tuning, but it had to go! I stripped her down, and cleaned her up. Ready to rock!

Re: Show Me your Customs
Sweet custom!
I realize this is probably a stupid question, but, here it goes anyway. Does the middle pup bother you at all when you play? The middle pup in my strat bugs the shit out of me for some reason? |

Not at all. On most three pickup Les Pauls that I've played, the middle pup is far enough from the strings so that it doesn't get in my way. Strats, on the other hand, do. Plus, I don't see myself ever really using it, so I lowered it into the body a little.

[quote=Boleskinehouse;185441]Hey, Hummer. Those things are the shiznit. Nothing cooler than a darkburst custom! Nice tops![/QUOTE
Thanks Boleskinehouse... It took me about a rear to find the perfect(in my opinion) for the 25/50. Either they din't have enough flame or the were boat anchores... Both of my customs weigh in at 10 Lbs... |
