I think Rod makes a great product!!
I thought there sounded very close to the PAF's you had in the Conversion !! That was a great Goldtop !! A tribute to Skatterbrane !!

Yeah the reissues sound good...but the speakers are crap. They're made to sound good at store room volume. Then you get out and turn them up and they sound awful. Another thing I don't like is the pcb. If one of the traces goes bad...that's it for the amp. That's why I'd rather have a mid 70's handwired DR over a reissue BFDR.

But, put some good tubes and a good speaker and they're decent sounding rigs. Nothing like the real deal IMHO.

Yes, mine is a real 1965 BFDR. Thanks BOBBO!!

Nice !! The A2's are sweeter and bluesier and I think the A5's had a little more PAF rudeness going on !!

Talk is cheap.

Which is why the supply exceeds the demand.

Re: Video! Historic Les Paul Duel!! D Minor Blues

I'm listening on one browser as I read/type on this one. I've seen your videos before and this one is my favorite. I love having a buddy over to jam like that. It's so cool going back and forth from rhythm to lead. Good job, and congrat's on the VIP status, (as you mentioned in the last video I watched).
