Is the Lemon finish suppose to be the color that a vintage sunburst would be after many years of fading ? or is it just.....lemon ?

Lemonburst is the color a vintage 'burst becomes when all the red has faded out

So it would be an unburst...I love those lemonbursts only because I image a burst lester and then that lester faded...

But I think the lemonbursts are the best stock historics to resemble a burst

No, they are bursts that the red faded out of.

Thanks one and all. Mine is a one of 10 that Dave Carpenter hand selected the wood for in 2005. All 10 were Lemons and mine weighs 8.3 lbs. Light Honduras Mahogany, flawless Hardrock Maple and very dark rosewood board. There is a woman in France who wants to buy it.
