The new Stowburst R9 is here! (pics)
After a bit of a delay and a bit of panic it has arrived safe and sound. Here is a quick picture from the website for you to check out, will post some proper ones later on.. the 1st thing I have noticed is the neck is MASSIVE and I mean like my old R7 and I'm very happy with that.. lovley dark board too. I have not plugged it in yet as I had to get back to work. My initial impressions tell me that its going to sound GREAT and thats before I put the Grovers on and drop in the Skatters!!

Congrats Stow!! I'm psyched for you (and very envious!) What a gorgeous top on her! I love that the flame is not uniform and probably moves a lot depending on angle.
Cant wait to see more shots of this one!

At the moment the old R9 felt better to play (I think its because this one is new and I spent 4yrs playing the old one daily) but I have not set this one up how I like it.. aka the 10.5 set up! I'm gonna put on the Grovers and Skatters in as soon as I can.
I have spent about 30min cleaning all the VOS shit off the finish.. its looks like gloss finish now. I will say this: The neck on this is very big compared to my old one and just has better sustain.

Congrats Stow! She's an absolute beauty!!! Just a thought... before you change the pups, see if you can put a quick youtube vid together to compare the standard r9 pups to the skatters. That is, if it's not a big hassle. I am debating putting skatters in my r9 too.
Anyways, I know you've been waiting for ahwile, I'm glad she arrived!!! Can't wait to hear some clips!
