New R9 - Lost in Space?!??

Man, after reading LP Collector's thread about the DIVAburst and Fedex it seems the same shit is happning with me!

I brought new R9 a few wks ago from USA and my tracking stops at 15th July saying its in UK customs awating a charge..so I call customs direct and they told me what the chrage is that they have released it on 18th July to Parcel Force so it can be sent to me.. Parcel Force say its still in Customs awating a charge

THIS IS STRESS!!!!!!!!!

Keep calling parcel force because they wont put the guitar on the van until the charge is paid

Yeah LPCs thread was nasty.. least he has got it now! My situation has got a bit better as guitar has now been found and is on its way to me... I'm hoping I should get it tomorro?

I live not far from the depot so as soon as its there (could be later today, or tomorro) I will go in and get it myself and pay the charge.. I tell you I have dodged a bullet with the duty...

parcelfarce are the week link - All the stuff I order from the statestakes less than a week to get to the uk and then sits in a parcelfarce storage depot for another 2or3 weeks.

Trouble is when you go down there and tell them you know theyve got the guitar they'll come back with the stock reply... 'but the computer says...'

With my PG WB's it actually took them three weeks after id received the pups to tell me I had a parcel with an outstanding charge at their depot...

i normally only use ups or fedex.

fedex have been the best for me 3 business days from the day they picked it up from the seller in the states to get to me in the uk.

how good is that

It'll show, my guitar was stuck at the Canada/US border for a long time, it ended up arriving 2 weeks late.

i personally prefer UPS because they don't leave thousands of dollars of equipment on the front door, one time fedex just a pair of zeiss binoculars on my frontdoor without knocking or ringing, and i was home that whole week, and guess what they were stolen.

I'm sure I will love it! If it sounds as good as it looks I'll be ok.. if it plays like a dog I can set it up to play great so I'm not worried.

I have just got back from seeing it, its at home as I had to get back to work..only spent about 10mins with it. All I can say at the mo is, "its a good one" and pics will be in a new thread later tonight
