Band in the pocket.. Great backing tracks
For those of you like me, who are too busy to record your own backing tracks (or more to the point, too lazy) I found these Band In A Pocket backing tracks. I can only speak for the blues volume but there are rock and jazz volumes as well. Basically it's exactly what you are looking for, 9 blues tracks, in different keys, at different speeds, for you to practice your soloing over. Works for other solo instruments as well, including vocals.
What surprised me about the tracks is they are well played and well recorded and the music is very dynamic. The blues volume has some great subtle shifts in the music that make for some great inspiration. If you are looking to practice improvised soloing you can't really beat this..
