Hi guys Just thought I'd let you know why I started this group. Jerry and the Dead have been a very big part of my life and I have been strongly influenced by Jerry Garcia's playing. I went to my first show in 1989 and my last in 1995, six weeks before Jerry passed away. Between the Dead and the Jerry Garcia Band I've been to about 40 shows total. I collect JG stuff. You name it I want it if it has to do with the dead. I have hundereds of tapes and have found all the best websites pertaining the GD. I am in the process of writing a book about all the guitars Garcia used in his carrer. Well thats how it started anyway and has grown into my experiences as well.So if anyones interested, has a story about a show like the title says "anything GD or JG" lets here it.
