Randy Rhoads

hi,,Ive been studying randy's technique for over 20 years. everything from his solo phrasing, to his rythem structure..the way he layered in guitar parts was revolutionary at the time....27 years ago I wanted to PLAY guitar,same as many of you ,when i first heard crazy train,I wanted to LEARN HOW TO PLAY GUITAR...27 years ago I learned crazy train (my first song all the way through)...today it's second nature...(and still my fav) so thanx for making this group...will be fun talking (typing) about the person who changed our lives......

I hear ya...it was also Crazy Train that got me to pick up a guitar many years ago (27 years ago...wow!). Although for years I have become more of a bass player (due to too many guitarists), with the purchase of my new toy I have finally started getting back into playing again. Now I just need to start creating again!

Randy Rhoads is the reason I play guitar and is my main influence. When I heard Crazy Train on the radio in my frat house the first time in 1980, it changed everything for me. Instead of talking about getting a guitar one day, I went out and got one (Jackson dinky) and started learning. I love LP Customs because of RR.

Randy Rhoads, This guy was AWESOME...I have been on a Randy Rhoads kick for 3 months now..He has completely changed my playing style..Thank God for YouTube...
