Re: Root beer!
Yeah, I agree 100% That's the color I was going for before I changed my mind and bought a TB faded.

Re: Root beer!
I wanted a Root Beer, but I couldn't find one that sounded as good as my sunburst. The one Mikeeeeh posted is sweet, but the one I wanted was more of a striped pattern. like this:

Re: Root beer!
Hey Mikeeeeh, that's a sweet top!! Those rootbeer's must be hard to find because I don't recall ever seeing one in any of the local shops. Lots of Desertburst but no Rootbeer. Dang, all this talk of rootbeer, now I have to make a trip to the fridge.

Yeah rootbeer seems to be rare enough around these parts too, no idea why... I bought that one in from a forum mate in Hawaii 3 years ago... I remember my jaw dropping the first time he posted pics of it... way unusual with the black binding and abalone inlays etc... when he put her up for sale... I pounced, couldn't help myself...

Re: Root beer!
Oh man. I am almost tempted to do a sorta "Guinness Burst" on my first build. Start with a deep rootbeer brown on the bottom and then go natural wood right about the neck pick up.

Re: Root beer!
I just bought a 2005 AA top root beer standard, it's beautiful. I like the AA top because the flaming is subtle and really classy looking, as soon as I get a pic I'll post it.

Re: Root beer!
Noobie here...
Just purchased a root beer flame/quilt LP Standard. It's brand new but a 2005. It's been sitting in a controlled room at a dealer since they got it in mid-2006. I'll post pics as soon as possible...but it is beeeeeyooooooootiful! The pic in my avatar I pulled from an old ad.
