Tokyo Guitar Show 2008?

No pix yet. In fact, no info. Last year I found info in Japanese guitar mags and was lucky enough to have been sent to Tokyo on business at the same time as the show.

Now Ive been relocated from the sticks to the Tokyo area.
I definitely plan on going, and Im doing a MONDO photo shoot for the site (I got some nice comments about the shoot I did last year)

But heres the point.

I dont even know if theres gonna BE a show this year. I havent found any info!!
Are there any industry types on this board that can confirm that there will be a Tokyo Guitar Show this summer?

I posted a whole mess of pix from the 2007 show. Do a search, they should turn up. The show occured in teh summer, so Im expecting it then. Im just freaking out because Id expect advertisement to be up already for such a big event... Havent seen anything yet.

TOKYO GUITAR SHOW® 2008

Its ON! Tha boyz from my band and I are going. Weve decided not to included the wimmin folk as for our bassist it might entail having to reciprocate with him going to a flower show. As for our lead guitarist, he doesnt want his baby daughter knocking over any $75,000.00 guitars...

So who here is going?

No no, those guys are headlining on Sunday. Im going on Saturday. =P
Im KIND of looking forward to the guitars. Being sort of in the market for another LP, having full on GAS, and possibly ready to bail on my Gold Top target for a dual PU Melody Maker....those DO sound sweet.

Bottom line is, amongst all that wood and wire, I may just lose my mind and a good chunk of my wallet...

Yeh, therell be plenty of reason to go...

Girlie gettin her 6string on? Ill check that out.

Yah Ive heard of it. it's an annual thing.Long story short A bunch of asians that dont know how to play theyre instruments get together. and look at nice guitars that they cant make sound nice.
