Finally Pulled the Trigger

After weeks of reading and looking and playing over and over again I finally made my decision and bought a '99 Cherry Burst Standard It had been available twice before but the buyers backed out both times. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw it for the third time! Never thought I would buy one before playing it but somehow I felt it was time and the price seemed about right to me and it's hard to describe but it just seemed to speak to me on some level. I know it has a few dings but that's ok with me, none seem very severe.

Oh shoot, that's all beat up!

That's KILLER! Man, talk about cherry sunburst! Dang! Beautiful red. Also, really nice dark fretboard.

That's a classic Les Paul look there, and one of my favorites.

You'll love it. Congratulations!

Re: Finally Pulled the Trigger

Thanks for all of the positive comments!

Yeah LongBeach, I am sooooo excited about this. That color just jumps out there, can't wait to see her in person. Hopefully I'll have her by the end of the week I have a gig May 10 and so that will be her debut.

I don't know if this is the same one or not Mojo, I started really looking a couple of months ago and that was when I first saw her. He seems to have a pretty good supply of guitars!

The dude at GC's not gonna be happy with me though, he's been seeing $$ for a couple of months because he knew I was serious about buying one and now he lost his commission He was a pretty cool guy though and actually pretty helpful so there is a twinge of sympathy.

Those plaintops just started talking to me and that was what I began focusing on for my first Gibby.
