Re: Flame or Plain??

I like my guitars to pretty much be on fire.

But, I'm a sucker for an alpine white or a gold top Lester as well!

Re: Flame or Plain??

I really can't decide. My LP is two in one. Straight on in regular light I love the almost plain smooth grain to it, and as soon as I tilt it an inch it sets on fire!!! I like both sorry!

Re: Flame or Plain??

Plain for me. For some reason, I tend to associate the flame finish with being glamorous, sophisticated and formal - kinda like wearing a tux or some sort of formal dinner wear. And I also tend to associate it with jazz. I suck in playing jazz and so I gravitate towards the plain which IMO is kinda laid back but watch out!

I love the plain. So I voted for it. Flame is alright but it really depends on what color you go with.
