? 04 Studio in blue.
I picked up an 04 Les Paul Studio today and I've never seen it in this color before. It is a metallic blue and on the back of the headstock it is marked 55/200. I wanted to find out if anyone has ever seen or heard of this combo before?

Yeah. I'm assuming that's what it is. I'm waiting to hear back from Gibson about it. I sold my 88 studio a while back and missed it so much I went to buy a new one today but they had this used one and it's in awesome condition so I grabbed it.

oooh im preety sure thats the 'saphire blue' version, they were realeased in limited numbers..

Gibson also did a run of 400 SGs in the same colour..

I think your correct about the sapphire blue but I thought that color was part of the Gem series and I don't think this guitar is from the Gem series. It is definetly the same color as this guitar which I found on this forum.
