If it were me I'd go for the SG Standard.
But if you really want a Les Paul, go for the faded Studio.

Buy what feels best to you but also buy the best you can afford.
I spent a little extra money on a MIJ Strat over a MIM back in 1992. I still own that guitar and it has paid for itself many times over and I have been offered 3x what I paid for it.
