No, but it's pretty cool. Good hook in the main riff. Way too much soloing. I mean, it never stops for the whole duration of the song.

you probably would have gotten a better reaction if you'd simply said, "hi im (so and so) and this is my new song. check it out."
instead of trying to compare yourself to something like Stairway. personally i found the attempt at comparison kind of pompous and it was what i was thinking about when i tried to listen to your song.. so instead of hearing it objectively, the whole time i found myself thinking: "thats not like jimmy page" "the guitar sounds thin" "the singer is out of tune".. etc. which is a shame really.. because i like hearing peoples music and i really would have liked to enjoy your song.. honestly i think i would have enjoyed it quite a bit without the preconceptions.

when you invite comparison to something as iconic as Stairway in such a way, you invite more contrast than anything.

...seriously tho, I think its my best work yet and I've redone the vocals and will load the new version up soon. Im sorry about the BS. And ty for the comments too. I'm using a SG with Bill Lawrence pickups while I await the return of my Epi LP from repair. I will redo the guitar parts next time with a better guitar tone, promise. The vocals have also been re-recorded. Im not a sound engineer's bumhole..just tryin my best to make good music..Peace , Luke

cool man. im glad you didnt take my post in the wrong way. what i was trying to say is: if you want your music to be noticed, let it stand alone and speak for itself. let your fans do all the comparing and contrasting.

for instance, imo it had more of a Clapton vibe than anything.
