Yeah. It was bound to happen - they've been together (with little breaks) for nearly 40 years.

If Tyler leaves, they should just call it a day. It ain't Aerosmith without the original lineup. They tried it once already (Jimmy Crespo) and it didn't work.

Don't really care for much of what they've done after the 70's. Can't see any of them doing much as solo artists but wish them luck.

OP - just out of curiosity, what makes you think your threads are more important than everyone elses and deserve to be in the Gibson section?

Everyone wants people to look at their threads, and obviously this is one of the most looked at sections, but it just turns the forum into a cluttered mess when the sections aren't used properly.

Really that makes me very sad. I see alot of you dont care as much but Aerosmith was my first rock and roll band I liked and listened to and all I want to do is at least see them 1 time live with the original band before one of them dies, but the future is not looking bright for that...

well....i'm an A-Smith freak......and,while Steven is sorely UNDER-rated as a singer and frontman......as was said before....cant see what he can or hope to accomplish as a solo artist....."commercially viable"??....i doubt it.....i mean......i friggin LOVE Joe Perry.....and yes...i have all the Project stuff...plus his 2 "solo" lp's....and....well...like i said....i LOVE Joe....love his playing....attitude....the whole shebang...i'd even say he is the most influencial guy to me with the exception of Pagey(but as we know...Joe friggin loves Jimmy

).....but...his stuff really....isn't "all that",either......but.....Aerosmith isn't Aerosmith without Steven....or ANY of the original guys.....to do "Aerosmith" without Steven....big mistake....

......i'd like to see Brad and Joe doin' somethin' rockin'......i'd buy that.....a hard,guitar based 70's Aerosmith guitar sound album....i'd buy that...definetly.....i suspect alot of people would....
